As I write out some thoughts about my life, ministry and personal life, a smile comes to my face.  I am blessed with my loving wife Karen who loves people, is supportive of ministry and is all about God’s will.  She is the most consistent person I know and always helps me to be a better man.  I love her for all this and more.  We have four adult children, Dan, Joe, Nathan and Jamie who give us many reason to be proud and eight wonderful grandchildren who are scattered across the country.

I love playing racquetball and going to serene places like Lancaster, PA where the living is calm, quiet and somewhat slower.  That is when I can hear God’s voice the best and I love it!  I graduated from Boston Baptist College in 1984(yikes!) and have been pastoring and serving ever since.

First Baptist Church is an answer to prayer.  Karen and I love it here and we have met many of the sweetest folks ever!  My goals are to equip the saints, love and comfort the hurting and win the lost.  As I preach the whole counsel of God, I depend on the Lord to relay His life-changing message of love and faithfulness to others.
