Dear Church Family,
After months of deliberation, prayer and steps of faith on all sides, God’s will has prevailed in bringing two churches together! Certainly we are better together than we were apart and we look forward to a willingness and cooperation to fulfill the work of Christ in our Church.
We are in the process of selling a building, giving notice at Taunton State Hospital concerning my Chaplaincy there and establishing a game plan with all our folks at First Baptist.
It’s great to remember that the Church is not ours and even our giftedness has been given us by the Lord. I look forward to seeing each member incorporating their giftedness into the workings of God’s Church.
Thank you for the blessing and opportunity to serve as your Pastor. I thank God for the sweet people who have already come by my side to help and encourage. Barnabas as he viewed the Gentile Church at Antioch saw the Grace of God and was glad. He encouraged them to “Cleave to the Lord”. Might we do the same. Let’s always keep the Main thing; The Main Thing. Our success will not be attributed to one person but will be a team effort as we move together to endeavor to do all our Lord’s will.
Again Thank You!
Because He Lives,
